Between Auxerre and Mâcon area, the vineyard of Burgundy extends over only 28,841 hectares, and produces 84 "Appellations d’Origine Contrôlée" (controlled origin designation). Its wines belong to the most prestigious appellations in the world and are being crafted by women and men across six different wine regions. Our wines reflect those exceptional terroirs, located between hilly sights, monumental cliffs and sunbathed slopes.

Tasting notes


Color: Pale gold hues.

Nose: Floral and white fruit aromas are combined with honey, reminiscent of gingerbread.

Palate: A nice acidity with hazelnut and honey flavors. An elegant and fresh wine.


Wine and food pairing


Count on simple dishes, fish or vegetable woks. With a little age it will enhance richer dishes such as fish in sauce or shellfish. Cheeses: Bresse blue cheese, goat cheese and Gruyere cheese.


Serving suggestions


Best served at a temperature of 10 to 13 °C.


Ageing potential


Can be cellared for 3 to 8 years.

Origins


Regional appellation, it covers 22 communes of Côte-d'Or and 7 communes of Saône-et-Loire. The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune vineyard overlooks the Côte de Beaune, at an altitude of 280 to 450m. The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune covers about 833 hectares, of which about 165 ha are for white wines.

The grapes are sorted before destemming and direct pressing. The grapes are sorted before destemming and pressed directly. The wine is settled for 24 hours, then slowly fermented in barrels and aged for about 8 months.
